The F and L Families

It’s pretty awesome when someone believes in your abilities before you “finally see the light” and start to believe in yourself as well. Last year, as I was just starting to get pretty serious about this photography thing, one of my husband’s co-workers approached me about taking photos for her family. I was a bundle of nerves and I kept trying to come up with a million reasons to say no, but, ultimately said yes. After saying yes, THEN the panic set in…”OH MY GOD! An actual paying client?! What now?!”  I remember how nervous I was driving to their house but how quickly the nerves dissipated when Stephanie and her husband made me feel so welcome and at ease. To this day, the image below is one of my favorites (in case you couldn’t tell by the fact that it is the FIRST image in my slideshow above.)

After having such a fun time with them last year, and feeling totally at ease, imagine my excitement when Stephanie contacted me to do family photos for her again. This time however, her husband’s sister and her family would be joining us as well. See below for some of the shots from our time together at one of Harrisburg’s photography “hot spots”, Fort Hunter down by the Susquehanna River.
