Riley is another one of my Class of 2018 Street Team girls and I seriously loved getting to know her this past year. Her biggest request for her session was that I not ask her to “ha ha ha”. For those not familiar with my “ha ha ha” techniques I will often be completely ridiculous and ask my seniors to “ha ha ha” obnoxiously because they feel ridiculous and then I get REAL laughs after that…but Riley, she’s not a fan of the “ha ha ha”. So brining along the entertainment in the form of her DAD was just what we needed to get those real smiles from her. As you’ll see below…Dad got in on the action and offered some posing suggestions. It’s rare we have dad join us on the shoots but last year I had three dads who were absolutely into each of their seniors’ sessions and I love what a fun event it was for the whole family!

Sometimes, there’s just something about the blurry, imperfect, out of focus images that stop you in your tracks and make you move them to the keepers pile. Love this pic of Riley!
