Every now and then, a dress just speaks. You know what I mean—when you see it and your brain goes full ✨movie montage✨ and starts building a whole vibe before you’ve even checked the price tag. That’s exactly what happened when I saw the bow-covered beauty on Instagram from The Clothes Vine boutique in Carlisle. The moment I saw it, I said OHHHH yes, and the creative switch flipped. Within 24 hours, I had a full mood board and a set concept. Not long after that, I had a senior in mind who I knew could bring the vision to life.

Enter Arianna—who, along with her mom, basically has an accessories archive that rivals a Hollywood stylist’s pull closet. Between the dress, their killer collection of extras, and a few studio styling choices on my end (chunky Mary Janes, knee-high socks, the gloves, and all the bows your Y2K-loving heart can handle), this shoot turned into pure editorial magic.

I called this shoot “Little Bows Everywhere” because, well, it was bows everywhere—on the wall, in her hair, on the dress. The whole look leaned full-on femme, but with a twist: soft details + bold styling = the kind of contrast I love bringing to life in my senior sessions.
