I’m so grateful for the days where I have the opportunity to actually relax (instead of cleaning) and get out and about to do some things I really enjoy.

This weekend, I had the chance to visit Burning Bridge Antiques Market in Columbia, PA, about a 35 minute drive my house. If you know me, you know just how much I love going to places like this. Old things with character and history just make me happy.  I was so excited when I discovered that Burning Bridge had THREE floors..THREE!!? floors to explore. I didn’t snap more pictures while I was there because I was just sucked in by all there was to see. I loved the large quantities of architectural salvage pieces that could be found there including doors!! As someone with a 1920’s bungalow home with it’s woodwork and built-ins still in awesome shape…it made me so thrilled to find a place where I could go should I need to replace a door or hunt for hardware that was authentic to the period of my home.

My other adventure this weekend, took me to Paulus’ Farm Market here in Mechanicsburg, PA.  Even though Friday and Saturday were a bit chilly, I was determined that this weekend I was going to plant my flower boxes and as many containers as I could.

After getting the things I needed at Paulus Farm Market…I headed home to play in dirt….many, many, many hours of “green thumbing” yielded the following results. (P.s. Yes, I am aware that our porches need some painting!!)

While there are still many things and projects to do in the yard,  I”m super stoked with the start I got this weekend and can’t wait to finish sprucing things up. Thanks for swinging by.
