Welcome back to school Slice Seniors!

Stephanie here, and boy do I have some fun, or should I say SPARKLY things to share with you. I have a feeling Homecoming has been on your mind, long before you received your new locker combination. It’s such a special time. There’s football, king and queen courts and of course, the big dance. If you’re anything like me, I was dress shopping way before there I was worried about finding a date to the dance.

This year’s dresses are all about the detail. We were excited to partner with Taylored for You in Mechanicsburg to bring you jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind homecoming looks.

When I arrived at Taylored for You in Mechanicsburg, the very first thing I saw were luminous fabrics with stunning patterns and shapes. And though there were floor length dresses available, I was tuned into the darling metallic minis.

So ladies, lines in all directions can be your friend.  When fitted correctly and fancied up with sequins, this texture will wrap around you smoothly and will accentuate your great figure. Taylor has a great selection of dresses touting zig zags, vertical, horizontal, bold and petite stripes.

 

You really can’t go wrong with the Glam Black. It’s both classy and never-say-die trendy. To pack a powerful punch, pair your dress with silver or red heels and statement earrings.

 

If flashy is your style, go big or go home. Bold, one shoulder necklines are one way to stand out. With this cut, no necklace needed! Long glitzy earrings and a bracelet or two and you are good to go.

Another way to stand out, is to find a dress with a dramatic low or cut out back. Friends and frenemies alike will be jealous of these show-stopping backs.

 

Since these dazzling dresses will draw eyes upward, your hair and make up are the final touches to pulling together the ultimate homecoming look.

Tiffany at Salon Noti  in Lemoyne put the glam in glamorous by adding the perfectly polished pop of color to our model’s lips and creating exaggerated eyes with cat eye liner and the blackest of black mascara.

 

Your senior year will be full of memory making moments and I hope Homecoming is just the beginning. Have fun and be safe!
