You know when you dream things up in your head and then when the time comes they end up even better than you imagined?
That pretty much sums up the gathering we had with my 2017 Street Team girls two weekends ago. The ONLY thing that would have made it better would’ve been if all 16 of the girls were able to be there; however, with a crew of girls who are involved in a million different things in school and their community, it was bound to happen that we wouldn’t be able to get them all in one place at one time. :( However, Hailey & Mckenzie met up with me later in the week at the same place & we had our own adventures. Them not being at our big group hang did not keep the other girls from cheering them on on social media though, and that made my heart so, so, so happy!!
Our day started out at The Rail Community Center in Hummelstown, where the girls played a little ice breaker game, we talked about the charities we are considering for our community projects and we laughed, ate Chocolate World Cookies (thanks Maggie) & we went through TONS of clothing narrowing down pieces for our editorial shoots coming up later in April. You’d never have guessed these girls just met with how quickly they all took to each other!
Once dressed in their Slice tees we headed up the street where the shenanigans really began. Thanks for braving the cold ladies & shout out to Landon Wise for the behind the scenes videos and being all around awesome. Also, thanks to the all the girls for passing around my Samsung nx-500 snagging photos of themselves throughout the day.
But enough with my words…take a peek at our adventures with “Children of the Lime” .
Shout out to this crew…love these girls: Alexa, Emma, and Claudia!!! We have been working hard behind the scenes to make our editorial shoots something really out of this world special this year. Can’t wait to share with all of you SOON! These girls are such an integral part of the Slice experience for our senior girls & I can’t gush enough about how excited I am to have them on board!
