Max | Mechanicsburg Senior Photographer

I think it’s no secret around here that urban locations are my absolute favorite. There’s just something about shooting in the city, be it one of our smaller local cities like Lancaster, Harrisburg, or York or bigger cities like Philadelphia or New York City that totally fires up the creative juices for me. When we shoot in urban areas, part of the creative flow of the session always includes WANDERING. Why? Because, based on what my senior is wearing, based on their vibe, based on our moods that day, there are always hidden gems to be found that make for great photo locations.

When we met for Max’s consultation, I knew we were in for a treat, because this boy loves his fashion. Together with his mama they put together some KILLER looks and when we got to discussing location, we pretty quickly landed on New York City. We hopped the train and spent the day in the city wandering and exploring. We started down around the World Trade Center and worked our way uptown thru Soho and ended at Washington Square Park. Making sure we got sone photos on NYU’s campus was a must, as that was where Max was applying to school and ultimately where he ended up! Getting to incorporate photos on the campus of where he would be spending the next several years of his life into his session was quite the special thing!
