Hi Ladies – Stephanie here. Hope everyone had a great Easter!

I’ve been excited to share this look because I just love this dress! The shape, color and feel and movement of the fabric reminds me of nature and water.  So much so, that I researched what emotions the color turquoise triggers in the human brain. Here’s what I found:

“Turquoise has more to do with feeling and creative expression than with rational thought.”

“The color of a Turquoise will make you feel happy and relaxed, for it combines the light blue of the sky with the invigorating green of the seas.”

“Shades of cyan, aquamarine, and turquoise are livelier than our peaceful true blues, but just as soothing. A gaze into Caribbean waters will affirm this. These blues relax and refresh the body and mind. They encourage us to get out in the fresh air, sunshine, and water.”

This elegant ensemble coincides with the traditional prom look. I knew Kelly’s hair would be up with lots of curls – one of many reasons  I chose to go with no necklace.  The iridescent jewels embroidered on her dress gave so much detail and because of her petite frame, the sweetheart neckline looks stunning. For girls that have a larger chest, I’d highly recommend attaching the optional straps that usually come with all dresses. This will give you added support to let you dance the night away.

The rose gold chandelier earrings and stunning strappy heels pull this whole look together.  Light blues and greens go exceptionally well with pale pinks, golds, and other iridescent hues. With her hair up and and sequin bustier the elongated earrings are the perfect final touch.

Here are some more looks to quench your thirst.
