CONNECTION.

For me, connecting with my clients is key to bringing their senior session to life & ensuring that from one senior to the next, their sessions are uniquely theirs.  Shortly into our pre-session consultation, Amanda and her mom shared that they wanted to honor Amanda’s late father, John, by bringing him into her senior session in some way.  This lead to me sharing, that I too was part of the “club no one wants to belong to” and that I had lost my mom as a young adult…instantly we connected and what Amanda said to her mom after I shared that really touched my heart. Thus, not only did I really want to ensure that Amanda had the absolute best senior portrait experience she could have, but that whatever we did to honor her father was special and unique to who he was and the sacrifices he made.

Amanda you were an absolute delight to spend time with and I hope the poison sumac/outbreak of nature induced rashes we both suffered following your shoot were worth every minute!  Your dad undoubtedly looks down upon you full of pride for who you are and what’s in store for your future.
