Meet the B Family | Slice of Life Sessions | Central PA Lifestyle Family Portraits

I had the pleasure of meeting Erin through my partnerships with Apricot Lane Boutique in Lancaster. Through conversation we discovered our connection with Adoption: I as an Adoption Supervisor for a Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN) Affiliate agency and she as the adoptive parent of 3 beautiful little girls who were adopted through another SWAN affiliate.

When I was chosen as one of the Top 50 Inspiring Adoption Story Photographers for Beauty Revived, I had the monumental task of trying to figure out HOW to go about choosing a family. In my many years working for an adoption/foster care agency, I had encountered an endless number of families, each with their own amazing adoption stories, so choosing ONE was going to be hard.

However, despite having only known Erin a short period of time, she and her family kept coming to mind.  And her fun, vibrant, beautiful family is who I chose to be featured in the Beauty Revived Adoption campaign.

Because their adoption story will eventually featured on Adoption.com, I will refrain from sharing their adoption story here on my blog, and save that honor for when their post is published; however, I couldn’t hold out any longer on sharing these family photos, as they are among my favorite family shoot ever. Having grown up as one of five siblings in a family of seven, just like Erin’s family, I feel these capture the perfect blend of fun, laughter, chaos, tears, and love that exist in a large family. <3
