Stephanie here, bringing you our next edition of Behind the Scenes with Our Seniors!
Oh Victoria Victoria Victoria, my kindred spirit, my all things fashion Senior Rep. Emil was fortunate enough to meet Victoria first, and my phone BLEW UP when she left her house. Emil vowed that one look at this girl’s closet and I would be in love. I ventured out the following week and sure enough, Emil was dead on. It was love at first sight. I love Victoria’s taste in fashion (duh) but I also love her positive energy, good vibes and go get ’em enthusiasm.
We couldn’t have asked for a better model. Miss V was willing to try all kinds poses and wear so many stellar outfits and she looked FAB doing so. I know in my heart great things will come from this young lady, particularly if she resides in the big city ;0)
I caught up with Victoria recently and asked her a few questions about her shoot. Here’s what she had to say.
Q: What was your favorite outfit from your shoot? Why?
A: My favorite outfit from the shoot would probably have to be my Ramones muscle shirt and the skull print leggings because matching is overrated and as much as it looks really good to match it also looks really awesome to take different looks/styles/patterns and put then together into an outfit!
Q: What do you think your style says about you?
A: I’d have to say that my style shows that I like to stand out and be different I don’t like being a follower. I like being a leader or trend setter I don’t want to be like everyone else.
Q: Where do you get your style inspiration?
A: I get my style and inspiration from vogue magazines, plenty of models for Brandy Melville, PAC Sun, Forever 21, H&M, American Apparel and plenty more I like to follow a New York type look.
Q: In just a line or two, how would your friends describe you?
A: My friends would describe me as different, hipster, “New York”! They can see something in a store and just think of me! (mostly any thing having to do with studs, high top shoes, band shirts, skulls anything like that.)
Q: What advice would you give other seniors when they’re booking their session with Slice of Lime?
A: Advice I would give to others working with Slice of Lime is to not be afraid to be who you are! Don’t hold back on explaining yourself and what you love, because Emil is amazing with getting the perfect scene and props to bring out your personality! She treats everyone equal and is just an amazing person to work with! Very amazing talent with photography.
Q: What was your favorite part of the experience with Slice of Lime?
A: My favorite part about the experience? Impossible to answer! It was all so amazing from picking out some outfits to put together to the makeup and hair/ changing outfits for different shoots and definitely modeling! It was absolutely perfect and an amazing time.
Q: What makes you feel alive? Absolutely giddy inside?
A: Definitely New York City! Fashion, makeup, modeling, singing, and acting. I love tumblr and I spend most of my time on YouTube looking up makeup and fashion tutorials also reading magazines and adding them to my walls (all four walls and collages of vogue magazines!).
