Tia is an all around talented performer. I had the chance to see her perform earlier this year during one of her dance competitions and she is captivating to watch. Tia gets a huge shout out because the day of our group shoot, as the sun got lower and lower in the sky, it got colder and colder. Tia and the other boho style girls were FREEZING. She and the other girls didn’t really have coats as we did not anticipate the significant change in temperature. She was an absolute trooper and you’d never guess she’s covered head to toe in goosebumps from the cold in most of these photos. Thanks for hanging in there, Tia!!! <3
Here are a few favorites from our group shoot of Tia.
~Enjoy.
How would your friends describe you? My friends would describe me as fun, goofy, loyal and kind. I’m the one my friends come to for advice and support. They know I can be trusted and will not judge them. They also know I care for them deeply and will do anything for them. Of course, they also know I can be really silly and like to have fun! |

Tell me a little about your involvement in school & in the community: (sports, church, volunteer work, etc.) Most of my time is spent dancing! I attend DeJul School of Dance on Mondays and I teach there on Wednesdays. I am also apart of the Northern York High School dance team! Dancing has always been a huge part of my life and I plan to go CASA next year and then to college to get my own dance studio. I am also very involved with my church, I go to Mechanicsburg BIC. I am involved in children’s ministry there and youth group. This summer I am going to Guatemala for a missions trip! |

What accomplishment are you most proud of up to this point in your life? I am most proud of all my dance accomplishments. Dancing has honestly changed my life in so many ways. Of course I am proud of the wins my team and I have earned, but I have also used dancing to grow in faith, to make really good friends, and be an example for others when it comes to sportsmanship and respect. |

What INSPIRES you? God! He has given me the gift of dancing to honor and glorify Him. I continue to strive to not only become a better dancer, but a better person. |

How do you define STYLE? How do you define BEAUTY? The definition of style is different for everyone! Style is whatever YOU think looks good and whatever YOU feel confident in. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, as long as you are happy! Beauty is pretty similar to that. I believe everyone is beautiful in their own way and however they choose to show their beauty is their decision. Beauty is often thought of as appearance but when someone is beautiful on the inside, then their true beauty shines through!
